President of the Foundation CouncilCompany Administrator Why the Just for Smiles cause is important to me- I want to put into place the financial, human and technical resources to enable as many disabled people as possible to have access to a maximum number of opportunities. An achievement that is close to my heart- The ‘disability sailing’ accreditation for our first catamaran, something we fought hard for. My vision of the future for Just for Smiles- I want to lead projects with real human values so that subsequent generations can better embrace them.

It was a first for these children, and their teachers were as moved as we were.My vision of the future for Just for SmilesTo be able to offer activities to every single disabled child or adult.

Why the Just for Smiles cause is important to me- It is a Swiss Foundation which has a local reach and operates close to our homes, close to my home, on a daily basis. To be able to witness first hand the incredible impact these activities have on people facing handicap makes the whole difference and makes me happy and thankful. An achievement that is close to my heart- To be able to follow and see working the fantastic team at Just for Smiles. My vision of the future for Just for Smiles- For the Foundation to be able to definitively change the way we valid people look at people facing handicap. For people living with handicap to be able to access to leisure and sports activities in a much more spontaneous and natural way.

Member of the Foundation CouncilSenior Physician at the CHUV Why the Just for Smiles cause is important to me- In Switzerland, Just for Smiles plays a unique and invaluable role in giving children whose physical mobility is severely restricted access to adapted physical activities. Not only is this a source of happiness and well-being for them, it also supports them in their development and health. An achievement that is close to my heart- To have been able to scientifically demonstrate in partnership with the Foundation that tandem skiing stimulates cardiac activity and movement control in severely disabled children. My vision for the future for Just for Smiles- I’d like to see Just for Smiles continue to expand its services, in order to offer more regular adapted physical activities, throughout the year, to children who have few opportunities to move around.

Why the Just for Smiles cause is important to me- I am the Mother of a, now grown up, autistic child and as such I have always wanted to be a part of a Foundation. I did not have time until now.An achievement that is close to my heart- Developing places to welcome adults with autism, to support families who cannot take care of them 100% of the time. This is utopy! Some exist, but mostly open during the week-ends.My vision of the future for Just for Smiles- I didn't know this Foundation before, so it is important for me to make it known by every means we have at our disposal, in order to raise funds and thus be able to give back their smiles to autistic people and their families through the different activities.

Hans-Rudolf Osterwalder

Member of the Foundation Council

Why the cause of Just for Smiles is important in my eyes- Disabled children in particular need to be integrated into our daily lives and just for smiles makes an outstanding contribution to this, which I am happy to support. What is especially important to me- Helping children who have a hard time in life. I am already a member of a social club that has made this task its main focus and I support various homes for disabled people. My vision for the future of Just for Smiles- I like your work very much and it is forward-looking. Keep up the good work.
